Recycling: the London based designer studio Ting uses discarded belts to create amazing modular floor/wall tiles, designed and developed for use in private spaces.
The leather belt flooring is a bespoke product and each belt is hand selected to ensure a high grade of leather. A second life for an old, obsolete object. It’s perfect if you are looking for something particular and innovative. The tiles can cover all the surfaces from flooring to bar tops and walls. Each tile is completely unique: the vintage and reclaimed belts used for each creation ensure that no two pieces are ever the same.
We know..the idea is great, but it is also expensive because we are talking about handcrafted quality. The composition for each tile or panel is carefully created in-house to assure the correct pattern and colour balance for each installation. It costs around $75 a square foot but what you can obtain it is really a unique, incredibile flooring.
