PORTABLE HOUSE BY DMAA ARCHITECTS

portable house, casa prefabbricata

Austrian-based practice Delugan Meissl Associated Architects (DMAA) designed Casa Invisible, a pre-fabricated, portable house that blends superbly into its natural surroundings.

The cabin-like prototype is clad in metallic Alucobond panels, made using aluminum composite, which create a spectacular mirrored effect. The layout is customisable and the wooden shell can be delivered fully formed.

Maximum flexibility and spatial quality are the key elements in the Invisible House concept of development. The overall dimensions are 14.50 x 3.50 meters, which provides for easy transportation by lorry.

Compared to the cost-intensive and bureaucratic construction of a conventional house, Casa Invisible offers a literally ground breaking alternative. The boxes can be stapled to form more spacious units or grouped individually as required.
